The Senior Design Capstone course is the pinnacle of the design track within the creative track and one of the most award-winning courses in our program. In this class, students design a custom typeface from scratch and use it to create a fully integrated branding campaign, complete with custom textures, patterns, and branded photography. It’s one of my favorite courses to teach and often becomes a highlight of my students’ college experience.

The brand invites customers to “find their vibe” with personalized offerings tied to zodiac signs, such as signature drinks and mood-based blends.

This project began as a concept for a flower shop speakeasy that combined a unique cannabis retail experience with a welcoming social space. Through in-depth research, we uncovered a significant design opportunity: most competitors in the field had poorly executed branding and uninspired design.
