As one of the first introductory courses I created for the University of Miami, Graphic Design for Advertising introduces students to fundamental software and graphic design principles while also teaching the basics of creating a visually cohesive campaign.
The midterm projects focus on mastering basic tools in Adobe Illustrator and learning the fundamentals of typography principles.
One of the final projects for this course is to reimagine a movie, tv show or music artists to create a visually cohesive campaign.
The second final project rebrands a nonprofit to introduce students to the principles of branding systems and how to implement them across different deliverables.
