Rice House of Kebab wanted to change their name and image when they decided to launch a new menu concept.
Working alongside my partners at YellowHouse Consulting, we rebranded their entire chain of restaurants.
We have been involved in everything from Brand Identity Design, Social Media Strategy and Execution, Web Design, Photography Design, and In Store Graphic Elements.
It is still a work in progress, but a project I am really excited to be a part of.
Great clients yield great projects.
I've designed a few logos in my time. Some have been good, others have been terrible. These are a few I still like.
I really love print design. This is a sample of some of the work I have created for a wide range of clients.
Real good advertising can be tricky to pull off. Especially when you are doing print, and when you are doing retail.
I think everyone in advertising has the dream to either have their work shown in the Super Bowl, or in NYC Times Square. That was pretty much my goal as I embarked on my advertising career.
This project took years off my life, required sleepless nights, and a solid month and half of 12-hour work days. Enough so that it deserves its own section.
The campaign took over the Port Authority terminal in New York City, including the subway station leading up to the Times Square exit, and every single media placement in the Times Square tunnel. The grand total: 102 unique Media placements, 80% of which was built by yours truly.
And while the Art Direction is not anything to brag about (due to Six Flags Brand Guidelines), the talent of my copywriting partner Matt Kelsen really made this the highlight of my advertising career.
Long before I loved design, photography stole my heart. I even considered becoming a photojournalist before settling on design.
Lately, I really only take out my DSLR when I travel, but I used to be a pretty decent photographer in college.
I still prefer black and white over color. Any day. And apparently, also love statues and architecture.
When I was in college, I knew that I wanted to get a Master's degree because eventually I wanted to be a teacher. I really was probably too young to go to grad school right after undergrad, and I wish I could say that I created an academic masterpiece, but I didn't.
Instead, I made this pretty elaborate personal story book, and I still like it. Although if I did grad school all over again, I would definitely do a typography based project.
